Thursday Thanks Tank #29

I need to keep up with this a little better than I have been. So many distractions have kept me from spending any time on my blog, but with Christmas almost here, I'm ready to start expressing my thankfulness again!

1. Holidays. I know many people don't have as much to be thankful for as I do at this time of year, so I am especially grateful that I have a warm home, plenty of food, a loving family and so much more.

2. Countdown to a new office. Southside purchased the house on 2nd street just across the parking lot from us (it previously belonged to Southside, then it was sold, and I believe bought back, and sold again, now bought back again) and we will be converting that to temporary office space (temporary as in a few years, not a few months I'm sure). I'm getting an office there...well it's really just a dining room, but I get to pick my color of paint and set it up as what would work best for me, so I'm super excited! Hopefully I'll be moved over there in January! (we were hoping for before Thanksgiving, but that's come and gone...and due to electric and phone issues it won't be before Christmas either!)

3. Ian's good grades. He got 3 Bs and an A last term, his first FULL TIME term. He was so proud of himself and I did more than a little ego stroking myself :). I'm so proud of my husband and he's working so hard to get his degree so he can find a more stable line of work!

4. Jeni's Jereme coming home! He'll only be here for a short time, but I'm so happy that Jeni gets to have her husband with her for Christmas!

5. Mandi's new home! My best friend is getting her FIRST HOME! How exciting is that??? They're moving in this Saturday. I can't wait to have her in Lebanon!!!

6. Time off. I have 4 vacation days left this year, and only 7 work days (including today). Woohoo!!!

So glad your friends are moving closer and are able to be with family for Christmas. Those are blessings to be sure! *smile* I have been watching and waiting to see how Jeni and her beloved husband are doing, she is so busy with babies and planning for the holidays I am sure. Aren't we all busy these days? *wink* Glad you will get some time off with your loved ones this time of year. And maybe Pink should be the color for your new office...remember the computer gift you gave to Aaron some time ago? *smile/wink* And maybe there should be little disposable water cups all over the place, if the guys have any hand in decore. *big smile/wink* Have a great weekend and if I don't get the chance before, have a very Merry Christmas! Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings
