Yesterday, our Pastor Dick Sargent and his wife Joanne fell on the ice that has covered Lebanon for the last 2 days. He had slipped down the ramp on their front porch, but did not fall, soJoanne tried going through the garage. However, she still fell once she set foot on the cement, and hit her head very hard. Dick tried to get to her, but then he fell as well and hurt his foot.
They got Joanne to the emergency room, and she got 12 stitches and they released her that night. Dick had a chipped bone in his heel, but they put a walking cast on it and he's getting around ok.
Saddest part is that they had both taken this week off as vacation! What a sad vacation!

I hope they heal well. So glad they don't have to take time off of work to heal properly. It's terrible that they both fell and got hurt so bad! Send them my well wishes please. *smile* Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings
I saw this on Facebook and said a prayer for them then. I will keep praying for them this week.
