Hooray for #20! I've decided to do twenty posts of "I'm thankful even though..." today. I'm not complaining about these things, I'm just saying that even though there are negatives, I still thank God for each of these.
1. I'm thankful for the sunshine even though it gives me a migraine at times and I hate being sweaty.
2. I'm thankful for my cat even though he wakes me up at 6:20 wanting to be fed.
3. I'm thankful to have 2 cars even though my husband's car seems to be having a lot of problems lately.
4. I'm thankful for a job even though sometimes co-workers drive me nuts.
5. I'm thankful for my macbook even though it crashed and was nothing more than a paperweight from Sunday until Tuesday.
6. I'm thankful for my friends even though I don't get to see them as often as I would like
7. I'm thankful for our home even though it's a little noisy with kids upstairs now.
8. I'm thankful for my new office even though it's going to be quite a while before I can use it.
9. I'm thankful for my church family even though they don't all get along.
10. I'm thankful for my husband even though sometimes we don't see eye to eye about things.
11. I'm thankful for the skills and talents God has given me even though I don't feel particularly good at any of them.
12. I'm thankful for the summer even though it's way too full of things to do and I would like to slow down a bit.
13. I'm thankful for my cell phone even though I always forget to charge it.
14. I'm thankful for counseling camp every year even though I'm getting older and things are changing.
15. I'm thankful for our H.O.M.E. Group even though we've lost several members.
16. I'm thankful for our upcoming VBS even though it's going to be very different and I don't know if we'll have enough help.
17. I'm thankful for the church directory we'll be getting soon even though it took a LOT of work and I'm sure there will be some people who won't like it.
18. I'm thankful for the flower box on my porch even though we forgot to water the flowers in it and they died.
19. I'm thankful for my new shirt and pants even though I have to wear special body shaping underwear so I look my best.
20. I'm so thankful for a Heavenly Father who loves me even though I've done nothing to deserve it and I fall short in so many ways.
Another thankful today but it doesn't go on the list because there's no "even though" to it, is that I'm thankful that my parents and aunt & uncle could come to the Mariners game with us last weekend. It was so much fun!

HAHAHA Thanks for sharing about your body sculpting underwear. :) You crack me up.
I guess it is a good thing that God loves us the way that we are. Because it sure seems like everyone in the church should like each other. But I guess that is where different parts of the body come in. Different people are going to clash... so I guess we just need to remember that we need them to be whole. :)
I'm curious to see the directory. I want to see how badly my photos stand out. :)
The worst part of the body shaping underwear is that I seriously underestimated the difficulty of going to the restroom while wearing them.
This was fun to read! I might have to do a list like this one week. The thankful for the sun even though you don't like to sweat made me smile. I totally understand. I'd rather be cold than hot any day but I love sunshine.
